Pallas Theater
In February, at the height of the Carnival season, the Pallas Theater is transformed into a bright disco ball.
Bessy Argyraki, Giorgos Polychroniadis, and Lakis Jordanelli take to the stage for a party dedicated to the golden age of pop—when people danced, fell in love, and partied in clubs until dawn.
With hits we’ve all hummed along to, rhythms that won’t leave you sitting still, and a band determined to set the square alight, Bessy, Giorgos, and Lakis are the hosts of an evening full of glitter, glamour, pop music, and carefree joy, with the directorial touch of Dimitris Malissovas. Follow them on an exciting journey back to the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s. Come dance with your heart and have fun with your soul, obeying the rhythm, on your high-heeled platforms. On stage with our three favorite performers, Dimitris Kiklis and the Rouge Noir Orchestra bring their own breeze of American and European pop.
Dress code, optional: Let your imagination choose for you. Take out your sequins, bell-bottoms, pink glasses, or, why not, dare to go for a total carnival makeover: from an authentic pop star look to your favorite movie heroes or a small, discreet accessory, any costume is welcome. The important thing is to get into the mood before you even enter the Pallas.
On Wednesday, February 18, Bessy Argyraki, Giorgos Polychroniadis, and Lakis Tzordanelli will give the signal for the dance to begin: “Forever Children!”
Come and join us for a carefree evening and share what we all need today: a little lightheartedness, lots of dancing, and the feeling that, even if just for one night, everything revolves around music.
