The award-winning musical Cabaret, which sealed the history of musicals, not only in the theatre but also in cinema, is presented at the Pallas Theater in a production of Theatrical Scenes.
Bob Foss’ 1972 film adaptation, starring Liza Minnelli in the title role, won eight gold statuettes and made Cabaret a household name around the world.
Cabaret, directed by Sotiris Hatzakis, choreographed by Dimitris Papazoglou and with original lyrics by Afroditi Manou, in a super production against conventions, full of seduction, love, eccentricity, dance and lots of music!

A place of dream or nightmare, an image of decadence or a way out, a place of questioning or fun, Cabaret will remain forever rooted in the memory of the spectators.
Berlin, 1930. In the shadow of Nazism, an underground cabaret moves to the rhythms of the night. All the characters in the play live their own personal story, linked to the history of the time. At the centre of the plot is the story of the young performer Sally Bowles, who becomes emotionally involved with an American writer, Clifford Bradshaw.
On a parallel level is the relationship between a couple, Freelane Schneider and Herr Schultz. All of them and the history of the period that marks the decline of democracy in Weimar are the subject of the commentary by Combert, an exuberant presenter with a sardonic sense of humour.
Takis Zacharatos plays the role of Combert.
