The Athens Children’s Ballet company presents the classic ballet “Hansel & Gretel” at the Pallas Theatre on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 January 2018. A ballet in 2 acts based on the fairy tale of the same name by the Brothers Grimm.
After its sold out performances, Athens Children’s Ballet will amaze young and old for the fifth consecutive year for only 2 performances! As every year, the ACB team collaborates with the famous Brazilian choreographer Erico Montes Nunes, Principal Dancer of the Royal Ballet of London, and the original music is composed by the Englishman Oliver Davis. Davis’ music has been danced by famous dance companies such as the New York City Ballet in New York.
The classic ballet Hansel & Gretel, a beloved fairy tale for young and old alike, will enchant the audience while teaching life lessons and most of all taking us on a journey to fairy tale forests, magical houses of colored marshmallows and lollipops! Will the Wicked Witch manage to outwit Hansel and Gretel? How will the two protagonists find their way back to their families? Who will help them and save them from the cunning Witch?

The performances are suitable for children from 4 years old and up, primary, middle and high school children.
