He has collaborated with some of the greatest names in music history\, including Miles Davis\, Herbie Hancock\, Aretha Franklin\, Stevie Wonder\, Paul McCartney\, Jeff Beck\, The Police\, and many more. \n\nIn 2022\, Clarke was honored by the National Endowment for the Arts with the Jazz Masters Fellowship\, the highest distinction awarded by the United States to jazz artists.
