SUMMARY:LOLA
DESCRIPTION:Lola from Troumba\,” Lola from the cabaret district. \n“Lola of smoke.” “Lola of passion.” “Lola of music.” “Lola of emotion.” “Lola of life.” \nLykofos Cultural Organization proudly presents “Lola” for the first time on stage at the historic Pallas Theater. Lykofos has secured the rights to the iconic film “Lola” and brings to life — for the very first time in theater — the story that defined and marked an entire era. \nFrom January 30\, 2026\, and for only 20 performances\, the legendary heroine of Troumba\, Lola\, returns in a blaze of passion and emotion in a production that promises to captivate audiences. \nThen – “The Film That Marked an Era” \nIn the emblematic film noir by Dinos Dimopoulos\, written by Ilias Lyberopoulos\, a stellar cast defined a generation: Jenny Karezi\, Nikos Kourkoulos\, Pantelis Zervos\, Dionysis Papagiannopoulos. \nThrough a window\, Vicky Moscholiou sings “Tou Iliou Hathike to Fos” in one of the most iconic sequence in Greek cinema — and from that moment\, nothing would ever be the same. \nUpon its release\, Lola sold 313\,822 tickets\, becoming an instant legend. Sixty years later\, it remains one of the most atmospheric and influential films in Greek cinematic history. \nNow – Lola Returns to the Stage \nSix decades later\, all those “precious ingredients” — love\, the night\, the music\, and the fire that burns within — ignite once again\, this time on stage. \n“Lola” takes the stage of Pallas Theater\, adapted and directed by Christos Sougaris\, with a new generation of actors breathing life into this timeless noir. \nElli Triggou\, Giannis Stankoglou\, and Giorgos Gallos lead an exceptional ensemble in a powerful story of passion\, jealousy\, betrayal\, and love — the story of a woman fighting to stand tall amid chaos. \nLola does not dream of escape. \nShe dreams of survival. \nBy her side stands Aris — her great love\, a man haunted by the scars and mistakes of his past. Between them stretches the dark world of Troumba\, where choices are written in blood\, and love is as dangerous as a knife in the dark. \nLike modern-day Orpheus and Eurydice\, the two lovers fight to escape the underworld that has consumed them for years. But the “world of the night” does not forgive. \nAt night\, love manages to light up faces — if only for a moment. \nAnd then\, darkness returns. \n\nCast & Creative Team\nAdaptation / Direction: Christos Sougaris\nSet Design: Tina Tzoka\nCostumes: Eva Goulakou\nMusic: –\nMovement: Andi Tzouma\nLighting Design: Alekos Anastasiou\nStarring: Elli Triggou\, Giannis Stankoglou\, Giorgos Gallos\, Mariza Tsari\, Kostas Xykominos\, Tasos Sotirakis\, Konstantinos Seiradakis\, Panagiotis Ioakeim\,  and a 20-member ensemble cast.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTICKETS

These stories explore the universal themes of love\, passion\, despair\, and mortality. The result is a modern\, visually stunning\, and emotionally charged performance\, brought to life by a talented ensemble of actors\, dancers\, and creative professionals supporting Olga Veneti on the grand stage of the Pallas Theater. \nDalida was one of the most beloved and successful singers of the 20th century\, and a defining voice of the Francophone world. SUMMARY:U-THEATER – Sword of Wisdom
DESCRIPTION:A magical spiritual experience for the first time in Athens!\nPallas Theatre | Sunday 28 September 2025 | Start time 21:00 \nTaiwan’s U-Theatre\, one of Asia’s most acclaimed artistic groups\, comes to Greece for the first time for a unique performance: the much-discussed work “Sword of Wisdom”. A thrilling synthesis of music\, movement\, spirituality and theatre\, which has traveled to dozens of stages around the world\, from New York and London to Moscow and Osaka. \nA ritual in rhythm – The art of inner awakening\n“Sword of Wisdom” is more than a performance. It is a spectacle-ritual\, where the body and sound become tools of inner search. Inspired by four Buddhist verses\, the play tells the story of “Brave” – a warrior who\, facing fear and ignorance\, gradually reaches spiritual clarity and a deep understanding of himself.\nWith a harmonious composition of traditional percussion\, martial arts\, dance\, Tai Chi\, precision and silence\, the play transports the viewer to a “magnetic space”\, where movement and stillness\, strength and tenderness coexist. A journey from the outside to the inner landscape of man.\nU-Theatre – The harmony of discipline and freedom \nU-Theatre was founded in 1988 by Liu Ruo-Yu\, inspired by the theatrical philosophy of Jerzy Grotowski. In 1993\, the collaboration with percussionist Huang Chih-Chun radically changed the character of the group\, introducing meditation as a core component of training and stage presence. Since then\, U-Theatre has developed a unique style\, known as “U-Theatre Aesthetics\,” which combines Eastern philosophy\, Western theatricality\, and a deep connection to nature and body awareness.\nEach of their performances is a fusion of art and life. A journey of silence and sound\, inner awakening and aesthetic perfection. \nAs artistic director\, Huang Chih-Chun says:\n“Performance is not about projecting external power\,\nbut about exploring the inner world.” \nA global phenomenon on stage \nThe play has been presented at leading venues such as New York’s Lincoln Center\, the Royal Opera House Muscat\, the Beijing NCPA\, the BAM Next Wave Festival\, and dozens of other festivals and cultural centers worldwide. \nREVIEWS\n“Absolute harmony of body and spirit” – The Times\, London\n“A meditative shock of the senses” – Global Media Post\n“One of the most spiritual and immersive performances of our time” – Financial Times \n  \nDon’t miss the opportunity to experience a rare artistic event\,\nthat touches body\, mind\, and soul! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTickets

SUMMARY:Nia Vardalos - TINY BEAUTIFUL THINGS
DESCRIPTION:Privileges at Club Pallas\n \n\n\n\n\n\nNia Vardalos\nTINY BEAUTIFUL THINGS \nThe hit production that broke USA box office records is coming to Pallas Theater in Athens\, Greece \non Friday\, May 16\, 2025. \n \nAcademy Award nominee\, screenwriter\, playwright\, actress\, producer\, and director\, the multi-talented Nia Vardalos has chosen the historic Pallas Theater to present\, for the first time in Greek\, in her homeland\, her play Tiny Beautiful Things. The play is the New York Times Critics’ Pick; worldwide\, the production has achieved great artistic and commercial success and rave reviews. \nTiny Beautiful Things is Nia Vardalos’s stage adaptation of Cheryl Strayed’s beloved book Tiny Beautiful Things\, which is a collection of real letters—letters that could have been written by any one of us. These letter-writers were answered by Strayed with optimism and tenderness\, offering guidance for both small and big life challenges. Vardalos adapted the book with care and love and has starred in the stage productions in New York and Los Angeles. For Nia\, beyond cinema\, theater remains her greatest love and creative passion. \n \nNia Vardalos will star in and co-direct her play in Athens. The original staging was directed by Tony Award-winning director Thomas Kail and premiered in New York theaters in 2016. \nThis deeply cathartic drama was so widely embraced that it was published and immediately sparked new productions in theaters across different countries and continents\, and has been performed continuously ever since. \n \nThe world-renowned and beloved artist Nia Vardalos now embarks on a spring theatrical run\, adapting the play into Greek\, with a translation by Spiros Katsaganis. Alongside a strong cast of Greek actors—her artistic companions Dimitris Papanikolaou\, Danai Loukaki & Dimitris Kitsos —she brings Tiny Beautiful Things to Greece performing on stage in Greek for the first time\, at the Pallas Theater. \nStarting on May 16\, 2025\, she will share with Greek audiences a moving and cathartic experience infused with humor\, tenderness\, drama and empathy. \n \nTINY BEAUTIFUL THINGS\n– The play that teaches us to listen—to others and to ourselves.\n– The play that helps us find peace when we feel stuck.\n– The play that guides us toward healing when we feel broken.\n– The play that gives us the courage to ask questions that have no answers. \nTINY BEAUTIFUL THINGS – Advice on Love and Life \n“…If it happens in my life\, it probably happens in yours too. These letters were written by real people who reached out for help. I admire their courage … and I am thrilled to now share their stories with Greek audiences.”\n— Nia Vardalos \n  \nNia Vardalos\nTINY BEAUTIFUL THINGS \nBased on the book by Cheryl Strayed\nAdapted for the stage by: Nia Vardalos\nGreek translation by: Spiros Katsaganis\nCo-directed by: Nia Vardalos\, Spiros Katsaganis\nSet by: Yorgos Gavalas\nCostumes by: Alexia Theodoraki\nLights designed by: Dimitris Kostas\nStarring: Nia Vardalos\, Dimitris Papanikolaou\, Danai Loukaki\, Dimitris Kitsos\nProduction: Theatrikes Skines S.A.\, ADS48 MON IKE \n“Tiny Beautiful Things” is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French.\, Inc \n  \n*The production company reserves the right to increase or decrease ticket prices at its sole discretion. SUMMARY:UTE LEMPER
DESCRIPTION:Privileges at Club Pallas\n \n\n\n\n\n\nUte Lemper \nRendezvous with Marlene \nThis show is based on a 3 hour phone call and exchange between Marlene and Ute in 1988 in Paris\, 30 years ago. After receiving the French Moliére Award for her performance in Cabaret in Paris\, Ute had sent a postcard to Marlene\, who had lived at 12 Avenue de Montaigne since 1979\, essentially apologizing for all the media attention comparing her to Marlene Dietrich. Ute was just at the beginning of her career in theatre and music\, whereas Marlene looked back on a long\, fulfilled life of movies\, music\, incredible collaborations\, love stories and stardom. \nWhat a secret gift to hear Marlene talk about her life\, her work and style\, her love for the poet Rilke\, her complicated relationship with Germany\, her sorrow and her fascinations. \nSix days before Ute’s opening night playing the part of Lola in the 1992 Blue Angel production in Berlin – the role that had made Marlene a star in 1928 – Marlene Dietrich passed away in Paris. After her glamorous funeral in La Madeleine\, Marlene finally came back to Berlin to be put to rest. \nUte tells us Marlene’s story\, along with singing her fabulous songs from all the chapters of her life\, from the Berlin cabaret years to her fabulous Burt Bacharach collaborations. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTickets

SUMMARY:Medea by Euripides - Simon Stone at Pallas Theater
DESCRIPTION:It is quite likely that no other Ancient Drama heroine has been as staggering as Medea. What if Medea were alive today? Inspired by the story of a Kansas doctor who killed her husband and two of their three children in the mid-1990s\, distinguished Australian filmmaker Simon Stone offers a contemporary reading of the drama\, featuring the acting ensemble of the Internationaal Theater Amsterdam\, one of the strongest theatre companies in Europe. The core of the myth remains unchanged and is ‘kneaded’ against the backdrop of today’s middle-class America. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	\n	\n \n	\n\n	\n\n \n \n \n \n \n\n	\n\n\n	\n\n	\n\n \n \n \n \n \n\n	\n\n\n	\n\n	\n\n \n \n \n \n \n\n	\n\n\n	\n\n	\n\n \n \n \n \n \n\n	\n\n\n	\n\n	\n\n \n \n \n \n \n\n	\n\n\n	\n\n	\n\n \n \n \n \n \n\n	\n\n\n	\n\n	\n\n \n \n \n \n \n\n	\n\n\n	\n\n	\n\n \n \n \n \n \n\n	\n\n\n	\n\n	\n\n \n \n \n \n \n\n	\n\n\n	\n\n	\n\n \n \n \n \n \n\n	\n\n\n	\n\n	\n\n \n \n \n \n \n\n	\n\n\n	\n\n	\n\n \n \n \n \n \n\n	\n\n\n	\n\n	\n\n \n \n \n \n \n\n	\n\n\n	\n\n	\n\n \n \n \n \n \n\n	\n\n \n	\n\n	\n	\n	\n\n	\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	What does the press say…\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSimon Stone’s Medea at the Pallas Theatre in Athens \nAustralian actor\, director\, and writer Simon Stone\, known for his contemporary and accessible adaptations of classic myths and literature\, brings his rendition of Medea to the Pallas Theatre in Athens until July 11. \nSource: Neoskosmos.com

SUMMARY:A night at the opera at Pallas Theater
DESCRIPTION:A night at the opera…\nAn evening among the mysterious women of Marina Leon. The painter presents 23 works of different dimensions with a focus on women. Colours\, emotions and music mix in the palette of life and give us colourful stories..The playwright and prose writer George Maniotis says among other things about Marina Leon’s painting:\n“The bliss of flowers traps women. At first\, such a life seems like a dream. A dream full of comfort and luxury that intoxicates you with its fragrances and seals the mind and soul with its brilliant colours. But as time goes by\, the bouquets that embellished a drugged imagination settle on the heads and slowly begin to fade away the features of faces and all senses.\nThey seal the eyes with rose petals\, close the noses with hard foliage\, the ears with lilies and ivy\, leaving the lips free only to kiss the companions and benefactors…”\n\nMarina Leon was born and raised in New York City.\nAfter finishing her studies in fashion design at the prestigious F.I.T New York\, she returned to Greece where she excelled as head designer for some of the most famous Greek fashion companies. For a long period of time she dedicated herself to motherhood and began exploring the world of painting\, studying alongside leading and internationally acclaimed artists.\nHer works belong to private collections in Greece and abroad. She has exhibited in important galleries and art galleries.  \nSome of her creations form the central core of the showcase of the internationally acclaimed Brand Carpo in Dubai. \nCurator: Yiannis Gounas\nExhibition duration: 5/4/2024 to 14/4/2024\nOpening hours: 17.00p.m – 20.00p.m\nOfficial opening: Wednesday 10 April 2024\nArrival time: 20.00 p.m\nHotel Area: Pallas Theater/Foyer

SUMMARY:The Sixth Floor at Pallas Theater
DESCRIPTION:Season: 2024\nStart: 23 February 2024\nEnd: 03 March 2024\nNumber of performances: 8Thirty-two years after its now legendary presentation at the Peroket Theater(1991-92)\, George Valaris directs and revives the musical performance “The Sixth Floor” with a staff of great artists. Based on the comedy that characterizes Anna Panagiotopoulou’s successful adaptation of Alfred Alfred Gehri popular play – which has been translated and performed with great success almost all over the world from 1938 to the present day – Stamatis Kraounakis and Lina Nikolakopoulou have created perhaps the most famous and beloved songs ever heard in the last decades in a theatrical performance\, (“What time is it\, what day is it and what year is it”\, “The Song of the Gossip Girl”\, “The Song of Jealousy”\, “The Handrail”\, etc.).\n\n\nThe premise of the work is timeless and particularly relevant today. In the 1930s\, the tenants of an apartment building in Paris are living in a state of crisis. The daily life of the residents of the sixth floor unfolds through the loves\, conflicts\, endless fights\, constant incidents and the dreams that each one makes for his life. \nDreams big and small\, dreams that give every person the strength to endure the difficulties of everyday life. Only in the course of the play\, the heroes will realize that above and beyond dreams – which unfortunately so rarely come true – there is love\, companionship\, solidarity\, the feeling that we remain united in the face of every difficulty. And it is only through this sense that we can emerge true winners in the game of life. \n\n\nAuthor: Alfred Gehri\nAdapted by: Anna Panagiotopoulou – (Platon Mavromoustakos)\n(George Valaris and the company)\nDirection: George Valaris\nMusic: Stamatis Kraounakis\nLyrics: Lina Nikolakopoulou\nSet design: Manolis Pantelidakis\nCostumes: Haris Souliotis\nLighting design: Lefteris Pavlopoulos\nChoreography: Markos Yakoumoglou\nMusic orchestration: Dimitris Andreadis\nVideo: Ted Zographos\nProduction Management: Katerina Berdeka\nProduction Assistant: George Geranakis\nProduction Assistant : Konstantinos Fringas\nAssistant second director: Fay Soukou\nAssistant set designer: Elina Drakou\nPromo photographer: George Kalfamanolis\nPerformance Photographer: Elina Younani\nPerformance Trailer: Fotis FotopoulosStarring (in order of appearance):Fotografia Fontaine (director of the production)\, Iro Mane (Germain Lescallier)\, Kostas Makedonas (Max Lescallier)\, Eleni Kastani (Madame Marais)\, Danae Lukakis (Jean)\, Marialena Rozaki (Edwiz Osceaux)\, Arman Edouard Menettian (Jojo)\, Yannis Stefopoulos (Osceau)\, Vassilis Athanasopoulos (Zonval)\, Stavros Parharidis (Doctor)\, Evangelia Moumouri (Lady in Grey)  \nMirka Papakonstantinou\nis “The Spirit of the Sixth Floor” \nParticipating musicians: \nPiano: Dimitris Kiklis\nDimitrios Kilis: Apostolis Paraskevaidis\nAccordion: Artemis Vavatsika \nProduction: Broadwayshow Productions

DESCRIPTION:Season: 2023\nStart: 18 March 2023\nEnd: 19 March 2023 \n  \nA production of Olympia\, Municipal Music Theatre “Maria Callas” at the Pallas Theater \nThe masterpiece of the opera innovator\, Christoph Willibald Gluck\, “Iphigenia in Tauris” is presented at the Pallas Theater on 18 and 19 March by the Municipality of Athens\, organized by the Organization for Culture\, Sports and Youth of the Municipality of Athens (OPANDA)\, with an internationally renowned production that was originally scheduled at the Olympia\, Municipal Music Theatre “Maria Callas”\, as part of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the diva of lyrical singing. \n  \nAn exceptional cast of distinguished lyric artists\, the National Symphony Orchestra of ERT and the Choir of the Municipality of Athens will present the opera that Maria Callas sealed with her performance\, under the musical direction of the internationally renowned conductor George Petrou and the subversive direction of Thanos Papakonstantinou. With sets and costumes by Niki Psychogiou\, the ancient myth will be brought to life on the stage of the Pallas Theater through Gluck’s intensely dramatic music\, which eloquently captures the particular psyche of the characters in the drama. The students of the State School of Orchestral Art will also participate in the performance. \nAn exotic location\, a lost sister\, a mad brother\, human sacrifice\, agony\, danger\, divine intervention: these characteristics certainly make for a fascinating tragedy. SUMMARY:Lakis Lazopoulos\, Panos Vlachos: A baby bottle and a bouquet of flowers
DESCRIPTION:Season: 2023\nStart: 14 February 2023\nEnd: 14 February 2023\n\nTwo successful artists belonging to different generations meet as co-stars in a unique performance\, approaching the relationship between the two sexes on stage in terms of unexpected comedy. Each of them argues from their own world and draws us into a universe full of playful\, sarcastic but also straightforward humour to end up\, despite their differences\, in erasing the dividing line between them.\n\n“The “Thyateira Association” is a charitable\, cultural and social association with multidimensional action that supports the humanitarian work of His Eminence Archbishop Nikita of Thyateira and Great Britain\, His Eminence the Archbishop of Western Europe and Ireland\, and is an important bridge between the Greeks of the diaspora and the Motherland.\n\n\nIts main objectives are to help the fellow human being\, to promote Hellenism and to continuously promote Greece on the world map of culture.” \nFor the year 2023\, the “Thyateira Association” focuses on actions to support the elderly. One of the main objectives of the Thyateira Association is the protection of vulnerable social groups\, such as the elderly\, whose safeguarding of their fundamental human rights is a primary obligation of every modern state\, but also a moral duty of all of us. For this reason\, the proceeds of the performance “A baby bottle and a bouquet of flowers” are offered to support the needs of the Old People’s Home “Agioi Anargyroi” of the I.N. Prophet Elias Pagrati. \n\n\n\nStarring: Lakis Lazopoulos\, Panos Vlachos \nOrganizer: THYATEIRA ASSOCIATION\nExecutive Producer: Queen Bee Drama Music Art\nProduction Manager: Stefanos Economou\nTexts – Direction: Lakis Lazopoulos\nSets: Yiannis Mourikis\nMusic Direction: Vaios Prapas\nLighting: Stella Kaltsou\nPhoto Costumes: Nicole Panayiotou\nPhotos: George Kalfamanolis\nGraphic design: ITW Global\nSocial Media: AS Media \nWe warmly thank Nikos Harlaftis for his contribution to the charitable work of our association.

SUMMARY:La Folle de Chaillot
DESCRIPTION:Season: 2022-2023\nStart: 17 December 2022\nEnd: 5 March 2023\n \n\nThe emblematic play by Jean Girontoux\, one of the greatest French dramatists of the interwar period\, at the Pallas Theater\, directed by Peter Zoulias. \nThe leading role of Chayot’s “Madwoman” –  is played by Elisabeth Konstantinidou\, and she embodies the struggle of an eccentric Parisian woman against every form of power that affects our lives. She is joined by Nikos Moutsinas as the junkman\, a demonic street theatre performer\, and Athina Oikonomakou\, as the sweet and sensitive Irma\, a Parisian prostitute with a pure soul\, like a little child. The show stars Yannis Siamsiaris\, Kostas Kazakas\, Christina Tsafou\, Stella Gika\, Stathis Mantzoros\, Georgia Kallergi\, Prodromos Tosunidis\, Efthimis Georgopoulos\, Makis Patelis and six other actors. \n\n\n\nAurelie\, the genius “madwoman” from the Chayot region in the French Trocadero\, is an unpretentious\, idealistic woman who sees the world as beautiful and happy. When she learns of the plan of a group of corrupt corporate executives and cynical businessmen who plan to dig up Paris to find the oil they believe lies beneath its streets\, she mobilizes all her friends\, who\, like her\, resist the power of money\, and sets a trap for her enemies\, into which she leads them and destroys them as they are blinded by their greed. \n“What would you rather have in your court:\nan almond tree or an oil well?” \nNext to Peter Zoulias\, a great group of performers puts their artistic stamp on it. Evanthia Reboutsika signs the original musical composition and the songs. The spectacular sets were designed by Maria Philippou\, the impressive costumes by Denis Vachlioti\, the atmospheric lighting by Melina Masha and the kinesthetic guidance by Kiki Baka. \n\n\nThe inspiring – and more relevant than ever – text of “La Folle de Chaillot” denounces adventurism and paves the way for humanity to prevail over opportunistic profit\, highlighting the eternal struggle between the dreamers of life and power… the eternal battle between good and evil.\n\nAdaptation – Direction: Peter Zoulias\nSets: Maria Filippou\nCostumes: Deni Vahlioti\nMusic: Evanthia Reboutsika\nLighting: Melina Mascha\nMovement: Kiki Baka\nAssistant Director: Marianna Tountasaki\nPhotos: Elina Giounanli\nTrailer: Konstantinos Economou – GUSECO\nMusic Instruction: Akis Dixiimos\nGraphic design: Indigo Creative  \nIn the role of “Madwoman”\, Elizabeth Konstantinidou \n\n\nNikos Moutsinas is a junkie\nIrma: Athina Oikonomakou  \nStarring:\nYiannis Siamsiaris\, Kostas Kazakas\, Christina Tsafou\, Stella Gika\, Stathis Mantzoros\,\nGeorgia Kallergi\, Prodromos Tosounidis\, Efthimis Georgopoulos\, Makis Patelis \nWith them (alphabetically):\nFani Georgakopoulou\, Vasilis Lemperos\,\nChristina Petroleka\, George Tsourounakis\, Michalis Filippou \nMaria Reboutsika sings live
