SUMMARY:LOLA
DESCRIPTION:Lola from Troumba\,” Lola from the cabaret district. \n“Lola of smoke.” “Lola of passion.” “Lola of music.” “Lola of emotion.” “Lola of life.” \nLykofos Cultural Organization proudly presents “Lola” for the first time on stage at the historic Pallas Theater. Lykofos has secured the rights to the iconic film “Lola” and brings to life — for the very first time in theater — the story that defined and marked an entire era. \nFrom January 30\, 2026\, and for only 20 performances\, the legendary heroine of Troumba\, Lola\, returns in a blaze of passion and emotion in a production that promises to captivate audiences. \nThen – “The Film That Marked an Era” \nIn the emblematic film noir by Dinos Dimopoulos\, written by Ilias Lyberopoulos\, a stellar cast defined a generation: Jenny Karezi\, Nikos Kourkoulos\, Pantelis Zervos\, Dionysis Papagiannopoulos. \nThrough a window\, Vicky Moscholiou sings “Tou Iliou Hathike to Fos” in one of the most iconic sequence in Greek cinema — and from that moment\, nothing would ever be the same. \nUpon its release\, Lola sold 313\,822 tickets\, becoming an instant legend. Sixty years later\, it remains one of the most atmospheric and influential films in Greek cinematic history. \nNow – Lola Returns to the Stage \nSix decades later\, all those “precious ingredients” — love\, the night\, the music\, and the fire that burns within — ignite once again\, this time on stage. \n“Lola” takes the stage of Pallas Theater\, adapted and directed by Christos Sougaris\, with a new generation of actors breathing life into this timeless noir. \nElli Triggou\, Giannis Stankoglou\, and Giorgos Gallos lead an exceptional ensemble in a powerful story of passion\, jealousy\, betrayal\, and love — the story of a woman fighting to stand tall amid chaos. \nLola does not dream of escape. \nShe dreams of survival. \nBy her side stands Aris — her great love\, a man haunted by the scars and mistakes of his past. Between them stretches the dark world of Troumba\, where choices are written in blood\, and love is as dangerous as a knife in the dark. \nLike modern-day Orpheus and Eurydice\, the two lovers fight to escape the underworld that has consumed them for years. But the “world of the night” does not forgive. \nAt night\, love manages to light up faces — if only for a moment. \nAnd then\, darkness returns. \n\nCast & Creative Team\nAdaptation / Direction: Christos Sougaris\nSet Design: Tina Tzoka\nCostumes: Eva Goulakou\nMusic: –\nMovement: Andi Tzouma\nLighting Design: Alekos Anastasiou\nStarring: Elli Triggou\, Giannis Stankoglou\, Giorgos Gallos\, Mariza Tsari\, Kostas Xykominos\, Tasos Sotirakis\, Konstantinos Seiradakis\, Panagiotis Ioakeim\,  and a 20-member ensemble cast.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTICKETS

SUMMARY:ANTONIS KALOGIANNIS - "The voice of our soul"
DESCRIPTION:An evening of music\, remembrance\, and love\n\n\nOn Monday\, March 9\, 2026\, the Pallas Theater at 8:30 p.m. will open its doors to host a special musical evening dedicated to the memory and work of the great performer Antonis Kalogiannis\, five years after his passing.\n\nAn evening of remembrance and gratitude for a voice that did not merely caress the songs\, but served them with truth\, ethos\, and deep human sensitivity.\nAntonis Kalogiannis was a performer of substance—a voice that breathed life into great ideas\, poetic lyrics\, and music that marked an era. He had the good fortune but also the heavy responsibility of standing alongside leading creators\, foremost among them Mikis Theodorakis\, and becoming the bearer of a song that spoke directly to the soul and to the struggle.\n\nDuring the evening\, songs that Antonis Kalogiannis indelibly marked with his voice will be heard\, set to music by Stavros Xarchakos\, Mimis Plessas\, Dimos Moutsis\, Ilias Andriopoulos\,  Giorgos Hatzinasios\, Marios Tokas\, Spyros Papavasiliou\, Giorgos Hatzinasios\, Argyris Kounadis\, Georges Moustaki\, Kostas Hatzis\, Vangelis Korakakis\, and other important composers.\n\nSongs based on lyrics and poems by Seferis\, Sikelianos\, Ritsos\, Anagnostakis\, Gatsos\, Manos Eleftheriou\, Dimitris Christodoulou — words that became songs and songs that became memories.\n\nGreat performers and friends will take to the stage to honor his career with respect and love: Melina Aslanidou\, Manolis Mitsias\, Giorgos Dalaras\, Dimitris Bassis\, Giorgos Dalaras\, Miltos Paschalidis\, and Tasis Christoyannopoulos. The musical direction will be handled by Andreas Katsiyannis\, head of the Estudiantina of Nea Ionia\, an ensemble that knows better than most how to evoke emotion through tradition and the artistic universe\, with sensitivity and respect.\nThe artistic advisor for the evening is Ilias Benetos.\n\nThe performance is directed by Sofia Spyratou\, while the video art is curated by Nikos Soules\, with original archival visual material\, so that the form and history of Antonis Kalogiannis can converse vividly with the present.\nThe narration is provided with sensitivity and clarity by Evdokia Roumelioti.\n\nA musical encounter that not only looks back\, but also illuminates the legacy of an artist who expressed an entire era — and continues to move us.\n\nPRODUCTION: STAGES NETWORK – POWER PRODUCTION\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTICKETS

With an original script by Zeti Fitsiou\, this play takes us on a journey through time to this historical city\, rekindling the magic of a bygone era through a passionate love story. A high-caliber production\, Alexandria promises to deliver a rich\, multi-sensory theatrical experience\, blending poetry\, music\, and dramatic storytelling. \nSet in the cosmopolitan Alexandria of the interwar years — a vibrant melting pot of races\, languages\, and religions — an unexpected romance unfolds\, forever changing the lives of its protagonists. A place where language\, song\, and memory are the only things that cannot be taxed. \nAstoria is the new production of Pallas Theater\, opening on March 19th. It features an original script by Konstantinos Samaras and is directed by Vasilis Mavrogeorgiou. Set against a rich musical backdrop\, the story explores the lives\, dreams\, and contradictions of the Greek immigrant community as it struggles to put down roots in a foreign land. \nGreece and New York\, separated by an ocean—yet united in a single coffeehouse\, in the heart of the most legendary immigrant neighborhood. A place where the aroma of Greek coffee mingles with the languages of the world\, and where lives intersect simply to endure. \nAgainst the backdrop of Prohibition\, economic hardship\, and political turmoil\, Tasoula arrives alone in New York. A city both brutal and dazzling\, promising everything and granting nothing. Among skyscrapers and underground deals\, the young woman is forced to confront the need to survive\, to stand on her own feet\, and to find her voice. \nThe Greek coffeehouse becomes her refuge—a place for meeting\, confession\, and remembrance. There\, Tasoula sings of the sorrows\, dreams\, and passions of an entire immigrant community: people who left behind their homes\, families\, and former lives in search of a second chance. \nLove affairs\, betrayals\, conflicts of interest\, and secret agreements weave a dense tapestry of human stories\, within which a young woman must reckon with the cost of survival and personal freedom. \nAstoria is a tale for those who left and for those who stayed behind.\nFor the women who were forced to grow up too quickly.\nFor the men who learned to hide their fear.\nFor a community that sings so as not to disappear. \nFrom March 19th\, at Pallas Theater\, Astoria brings to the stage — with a live orchestra under the musical direction of Nikos Stratigos — the pain of exile with truth and deep emotion. \nCredits: \nDirector: Vasilis Mavrogeorgiou\nWritten by: Konstantinos Samaras\nOriginal Music – Orchestrations: Nikos Stratigos\nSet Design: Manolis Pantelidakis\nCostume Design: Alexia Theodoraki\nLighting Design: Stella Kaltsou\nChoreography / Movement: Paris Mantopoulos\nAssistant Directors: Eleni Tsinareli\, Anatoli Tselaridou \nStarring:\nEvelyn Asouad / Theodosia Savvaki\nChristos Stergioglou\nBessy Malfa\nMichalis Alikakos\nGiannis Tsoumarakis\nAriadni Kavalierou\nFotini Papatheodorou\nDimitris Machairas\nDimitris Galanakis\nTheano Kladi\nGiannis Bisbikopoulos\nNikos Dertilis\nMichalis Koutskoudis\nLeonidas Bakalis\nAnatoli Tselaridou\nEleni Tsinareli \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	Media\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAstoria: A Tale for Those Who Left — and Those Who Stayed Behind \nSet in interwar New York\, Astoria\, the new production at Pallas Theater\, tells the story of Greek immigrants who crossed an ocean simply to endure. SUMMARY:Stavros Xarchakos – “Me Tropon Entonos Erotikon”
DESCRIPTION:Stavros Xarchakos\nRecording Evenings No. 3: Five “Laika” Icons\n“Me Tropon Entonos Erotikon” – “in an intensely erotic manner”\nPallas Theater \nMonday\, April 20\, 2026 \nDue to your enthusiastic response\, another concert has been added \non Monday\, April 20!\n\n\nHow can five iconic figures of Greek music be presented “in a highly erotic way”? The answer lies only in someone who has developed a deep\, almost “erotic” relationship with their work\, in the sense of emotional closeness and creative identification. Only when the artist has a deep knowledge of their music\, when they approach it with passion\, respect\, and profound understanding\, and can convey not only the notes but also the spirit that gave birth to them.\n\nThe acclaimed musical performance “5 Folk Forms with a Strongly Erotic Tone\,” which was attended by thousands of spectators in selected theaters throughout Greece and at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus in 2019 and 2020\, comes to the Pallas Theater with works by Markos Vamvakaris\, Mikis Theodorakis\, Stavros Xarchakos\, Vasilis Tsitsanis\, and Manos Hadjidakis. At the heart of the performance are the unique\, meticulously crafted arrangements of the Maestro\, who manages not only to showcase his own compositions but also to illuminate\, with deep respect and artistic daring\, the works of other great creators.\n\nHe is the only contemporary Greek composer who has devoted so much of his career to studying and honoring the works of his colleagues\, such as Markos Vamvakaris\, Mikis Theodorakis\, Vasilis Tsitsanis\, and Manos Hadjidakis—something that makes his approach unique and invaluable. Conducting an orchestra of top soloists and their exceptional vocal performances\, Stavros Xarchakos creates a musical experience of rare intensity and emotional depth.\n\n\nAn evening dedicated to the roots and evolution of Greek music\,\nwith melodies that have left an indelible mark and continue to touch every generation.\n\nAn evening where we all sing together!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTICKETS
