In the decisive role of the witch Attarti, Mrs. Mirka Papakonstantinou.<\/p>\n<p>Stamatis Fassoulis will capture the atmosphere of an emblematic era, taking us 130 years back in a journey to the coast of Smyrna and a story full of magic, spells, perfumes, love and passions.<\/p>\n<p>Smyrna, 1887. Katina is a poor, clever and ruthless Smyrna. Her life changes when she meets Attarti, a Turkish witch, who takes her under her protection. So Katina sets her sights on rising to the top. Love potions, bouillons, limes and magic never go wrong. She manages to marry four men, one better than the other, one richer than the other. As she rises higher in social rank, Katina mingles in their business and capably manages the merchants, the banquets, the tobacconists, reaching one day to become the mistress of all Smyrna.
