In the midst of the turmoil of the Russian Revolution with the Bolshevik regime on the rise, Anastasia (Demy) finds herself trapped in what was once the Russian capital, St. Petersburg, and seeks to rediscover her past, which she believes lies in Paris. Together with former aristocrat, Vlad Popov (Thanasis Chaltampasis) and a daring con man, Dmitry (Ian Stratis), who want to use Anya to trick the only remaining Romanov, the widowed Empress Maria (Mirka Papakonstantinou), into believing Anya is the lost Anastasia, they escape to Paris.
