It has won more than 50 major awards in all categories, and since 2012, it has entered the GUINNESS record book. That year, it won seven OLIVIER Theatre Awards in London for the first time in history, including the first-ever Actor in a Leading Role Award, presented to the girls who played Matilda.

Thanasis Tsaltabasis, Charis Romas, Doretta Papadimitriou, Penelope Anastasopoulou, and the young newcomers Naria Athanasopoulou and Myrto Farazi alternate in the role of Matilda.
The protagonists are accompanied by 40 actors, singers, dancers, children, and a live orchestra.
Synopsis:
Matilda Wormwood is different from other children her age. Her mind, emotions, and abilities operate at a very high level.
She loves to read, has telekinetic abilities, creates stories with her mind, and abhors injustice. Unfortunately, all special creatures grow up in an unfair world around the wrong people.
Matilda, with her mind and purity, fights by standing up for what is right and just. She stands up to the obstacles put in front of her by her family and the paranoid headmistress of her school and helps her beloved teacher win her life back.
