After a phenomenal run at the Pallas Theatre in Athens, the acclaimed production “Ta pires ola ki Efyges – The Life of Stratos Dionysiou” arrives in Thessaloniki this September for a limited engagement at the Radio City Theatre.

For the first time ever, the remarkable and dramatic life of Stratos Dionysiou takes center stage in this special series of performances. This unique music-theatre production pays tribute to one of Greece’s most iconic singers.

Giannis Tsortekis stars in the lead role, portraying the legendary artist with authenticity and profound respect. The key moments of Dionysiou’s life unfold on stage under the inspired direction of the multi-talented Vassilis Mavrogeorgiou, with a script by Konstantinos Samaras.

Joining the cast are Dionysiou’s own children—Stelios, Angelos, and Diamantis—who not only participate in telling their father’s story but also perform his greatest hits live, accompanied by a full orchestra. A gifted ensemble of actors and collaborators brings to life the people and events that shaped his extraordinary journey.

Alongside Tsortekis are Maria Kehayioglou, Yiannis Dalianis, Bessy Malfa, Michalis Alikakos, Chrysa Klouva, and Dimitris Machairas, portraying key figures from Stratos’ life.

Timeless hits such as “Apokoimithika”, “Pigene me opou theleis taxitzi”, “Ta pires ola ki efyges”, “Pare o,ti theleis paliatzi”, “Salonikios”, “Poios to eipe gia tous magkes”, “Vrehei fotia sti strats mou” and “Akou vre file” —songs that once lit up Athens’ nightlife—will be performed live in a show that celebrates the defining moments of his legendary career.
